Changes

Well...this past Sunday a.m. was our last service at the church we were at for almost 3 years. Pretty rough day. I'm not going to lie to ya....it held allot of tears, feelings of worthlessness and discouragement for both of us. But, as we've said over and over to each other, God is in control and He will bring us through :) Of that...we are CERTAIN!

Because of no longer being in the pastorate, something that we've been in for almost 14 years in one capacity or another, one of us had to get a job! lol! You know...cause Pastoring isn't considered a job :) Hee, hee!!! And for those of you that would like to say that...I'd suggest being in those shoes for a couple weeks and then getting back with me on how its NOT a job. Anyway, our good friend that I did the designing for his pizza shop, is hiring Troll on and will be able to be flexible with different mtgs that Troll already has lined up.

Today after 12:05 dismissal from the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (!!!!!!!) Troll will be going to Howard to "start" working. (Start is in quotation because of the previous paragraph for those of you that are slow this a.m.!) It is going to be quite a change for us as a family. Sure, we are used to long hours or Troll being gone for more than one day at times. But due to Howard being quite a distance from where we reside now....Troll will have to stay up over the week and only coming home every once in awhile. This is not something that any of us are looking forward to but are praying that we adjust quickly. Thankfully Troll has worked there numerous times and also for our friends dad at his pizza shop (while in college) so he knows all the ropes for the most part :)

So, if you think of us, pray for us as we go thru this "new" phase of life. To not belong to a congregation is a strange feeling. God has led us to each church we have been a part of...of that we are also certain. So we know that He will continue to lead. :)
