Took the kids to the park two days ago to go crawfish hunting. Here's just a few shots.

Just one of the many crawfish that got handled by the Tolley's! I wasn't real thrilled with how those things were absolutely everywhere. EVERYWHERE! So as soon as you moved you'd feel thm on your feet. Nasty! It was a fun evening though. Cheap entertainment!! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera ready when Troll slid down a bank with a crash into the creek!! LOL! It was so stinking funny! This must be the week for crashes. One of my friends missed a curb and hit the pavement, Troll crashed down the bank at the creek, Eth slipped on some rocks and went down with a thud and today our bed hit the dirt! Wonder who is next!! Probably me since I keep laughing! Talk about cheap entertainment...doesn't take much for me!

Tomorrow is the first day of July! Wow!! Summer is already flying by with entirely too much speed. We got our first pickings out of the garden yesterday...zucchini and hot peppers. Austin informed me that he picked (and ate) the first tomato. So far it all looks good. Our yellow squash plants died for some reason but hey....that happens. Looking forward to the canning and preserving that is soon going to be hitting with a vengance.
