More smiles

A few smiles for those people that don't get facebook.......

Last night our dog threw up while we were at church. Unfortunately she does this quite often (throws up). I chalk it up to her eating like someone is going to steal her food from her. She gets this mad cow look in her eyes and inhales her food. :) Anyway...one of the kids found the humonstrous pile of it behind the chair and everyone declared the were NOT going to be the one cleaning it. So, since it's Troll's dog, and normally he is at work when she pukes...we graciously handed the job to him! Aren't we loving?!!! After getting the most of it, he asked our oldest to go get a rag and the carpet cleaner and scrub the spot. Now, I love all of our kids the same....I don't play favorites....but let me just say....this one gives me cause for concern every so often (basically a million times a day). Ever since he became a teenager....his brain has just totally done a turn-a-bout and common sense just doesn't prevail! Lol!! So, said teenager gets the rag and carpet cleaner and walks into the living room. He says, "Mom, should I use a diff rag?" I gave him my typical "you gotta be kidding me...what's he thinking this time look" and said, "why?" He says, "So the rag doesn't get stained." I then gave him the "I'm really trying to understand your logic but it's eluding me" look and said, "Honey....its a RAG!" He looked at me in befuddlement and went to do his job! Lol!!

Earlier this morning, E came to me and said, "Mommy, can I borrow daddy's flashlight?" I said, Why? He said, "Well, I need to look under my bed to see if my tooth fell down there." I was instantly alert due to the fact that the "fairy" tends to forget when the kids pull a tooth and then there is heartache and much wailing. I said, Didn't you get any money? He says, "Well yes, but I need to see if the tooth fell under the bed." I said, Honey, if there was money than there isn't a tooth under the bed. He said, "But mom, last time I pulled a tooth, the fairy gave me money but forgot to take the tooth so I put it back under my pillow the next night and got more money! I wana do that again!!" Lol!!! I think me and the tooth fairy need to have a talk before "it" lets us go broke!!!

Hi Gwen,
My name is Kristin Ford. I was given your name by Dave Sanford and my parents, Bill and Kathy Brown. They work with Fellowship of Christian Farmers...I saw that one of your favorite places was the Stahl Family...so maybe you are familiar with my parents and Dave. Dave mentioned that you have shipped cakes in the past and I was wondering if I could pick your brain about it. I have been asked to ship a cake from FL to NY at the end of this month and didn't know if it was possible. If you could be of any help in this area I would appreciate it. You are welcome to email me at kleighford@gmail.com. Thanks again!
