Snow!!!

We woke up Friday morning to 5 & 1/2 inches of snow. I had to run out and take pictures. It was beautiful. The kids/Troll got a two hour delay before school started so that was nice, too. Yes, I'm a tad late putting pictures on here. However, late is better than never. Besides the first picture is one I really like so I had to share it.
This one was taken off the deck out to our "backyard". The trees were so pretty.

The sun was trying so hard to peek through the heavy clouds. I don't think anyone was playing on the monkeybars that morning.

Isn't God's creation/weather patterns just the greatest? I thought we were to get some flurries and woke up to this. The kids have had a couple days of long hours of sledding and lots of red cheeks and noses!! Hannity wasn't so sure he was impressed with the white stuff coming up to his belly!! He always creates a ruckous when we leave him outside too long!!

News

The latest in cakes are as follows. This was one for a 50's themed girl's birthday. The poor poodle was a challenge on the skirt as I was going from memory (not that I ever wore one). After the fact I found pictures GALORE that my dear husband had gotten off the internet. Oh well.
The black "things" on the sides are not wheels in case you wondered!!! They are records. Hey, I did the best I could.

Ethan really liked the saddle shoes. He kept commenting on them until the lady came and picked up the cake!!
This cake was made for a baby shower. The top cake was supposed to be a "gift". My corners got a bit wrinkled instead of nice and smooth. I just decided that it was "gift wrapped" by Troll!!! :-) I really enjoyed doing both these cakes. My kids are so good when I'm doing one. I usually start in the morning with baking them. Then the decorating process takes anywhere from 2-3 hours. They just play and whatnot while I work in the kitchen. I don't know how many times I've thanked the Lord that He's given me a talent that I can do things for other people. I'm not a professional by any means but I have fun.

A Funny

Today Ethan had to visit the dentist to have a tooth worked on. He wasn't to eat or drink for three hours before the appointment. Around 9:30 this morning I picked him up at school and we headed to the dentist. We were jabbering away when I remembered I needed to ask him if he'd eaten or drank anything that morning....

Ethan, did you drink anything today?
"No, mommy."
Did you eat anything?
"No, mommy, but I did blow my nose!" :-)

Tolley-ho!!

We just came through revival and walkathon all in the same week. A very long week, I might add!! I was going through sleep deprivation after 14 hours of my mom and I making whoopie pies for walkathon (pictures posted at later date), driving at all hours of the night and yada-yada!! I guess Bia was too as she hosed me down Saturday night at revival!! She'd fallen asleep and all the sudden I felt something warm so I quick jumped up. It was such a river it was running down MY legs!!! YUK!! I had to strip her down to nothingness. The only thing we could find to put on her was one of Austin's jammy shirts that had "The Rock"(actor) on it. Troll turned it inside out and that's what she wore for the remainder of church. He took her back to the seat as I stood in the nursery with hand sanitizer trying to get the smell out of my skirt!! Lovely! Thanks to Renee' for taking all soiled items home to wash for me!!

The other day Ambria came to me and said, "Mommy, my puppy is hungry." I went into the kitchen and this is what she'd done!! It was pretty cute. She had her baby doll in Ethan's seat but it was so tiny you couldn't see it over the table.
Here is the latest cake I did. This was for a 15 yr. old girl's bday. Her dad said she wanted black, orange and purple and other than that didn't care what I did. I almost fainted with wondering what I was going to do. However, my brain (what I actually have of one) started working and this is what I came up with. She was more than pleased.

This is what happens every so often when Ethan takes naps. Scotch knows he HAS to take naps with Ethan!! He doesn't seem to mind when Ethan goes on the hunt for him and then wraps him up tighter than a hotdog!

Troll was playing a game the other night and when I walked in the bedroom I saw this sight. Bia had given up and fallen asleep right under him. It was cute but sad. Poor thing still had her shoes and coat on!!

That's pretty much it in our lives. Revival was good with Bro. Arnold (yes, Faye...respect is nice!) We had good crowds each night. Troll starts revival tomorrow night at another church. So it's go, go, go. Course....what's new?!!!!!
