Labor day!

My parents came to our house for Labor day. Dad ended up laboring for a good bit of the day on our truck that had been leaking since June. Thankfully it was only the water pump and Napa was open even though it was a holiday AND dad was able to take care of it. This was towards the end of the ordeal and as I didn't have a flashlight Troll had come in to get my mirror to use with the good ol' sunshine!! As you can see...it take two hands to hold such a big mirror!!
After we'd eaten supper we decided to go to a park. There is a nice pond across from it where 100's of ducks and geese live. The kids really enjoy going there to feed them bread. It's so peaceful. Even though everyone's quacking!
I LOVE this picture of my dad. He always is a picture of quietness and "pond"ering.
Mom hung out watching the kids run back and forth begging for more bread. Not sure Seamus knew what to think with all the ruckus!!
I love this picture, too. I had a good one of Austin getting ready to be taken when he stepped right into the sun so it didn't turn out too well.

I have a bunch of pictures from that day. Not sure how many I want to put on here. Give me a bit and possibly I'll post some more in a little while. I'm sorry it's taking me so long to post anymore. Unfortunately a good bit of people in this county are having phone issues. Our phone company declares it's a problem in our house. I'm tired of arguing with them and am ready to cancel the line. Since I can come over to school every week or so... I might just do that.
