The latest

Here are a few cakes I did the week before Easter. The first was for a baby shower for a lady at our church. She works on a farm and we wanted to incorporate cows somehow. I came up with this theme. The next two cakes were for a surprise party for Troll's brother's girl,Peyton, and Austin. She turned 11 on the 26th (Happy Bday, Peyton) and Austin is turning 10 on April 14th. He is really into military stuff and reading about wars in the past. (History buff like his dad). All items on the cakes were made out of fondant. I had a really fun time with these. The airplane was a bit of a challenge. However, thanks to a couple big books Austin has about airplane history I was able to come up with a pretty close rendition of a Hawker Hurricane. The tail of the other "plane" was the closest I could get to a Messerschmitt Me 262- a German jet fighter that did not enter combat until July 1944. Ok. I'll stop with the History.
