Yesterday I was at a friend's house. Bia was with me. She was eating an ice cream cone and had it all over her face. It was so cute looking when she noticed I was watching her and she gave me her "Papaw eyes" (as Troll likes to say). I said, Bia...you are so cute. She looked right back at me and said, "Jesus made me that way!" LOL!!!
In my fortune cookie...
Make TODAY beautiful because yesterday is already gone and tomorrow hasn't arrived yet!

Birthdays and Bia.
Yesterday Bia had me cracking up so bad. I was getting her dressed for church after her shower. I noticed she smelled allot like Troll when he got outa the shower. I said, Bia, did you use man soap?
She said, MHM!!
Ethan said, Yea, she put it in her mouth!!
I said, Bia, don't use man soap. You need to use baby soap so that you smell like a little girl.
She said, "well when I turn into a boy I'm gonna use man soap!"
And then came the whole discussion that she wouldn't be turning into a boy cause Jesus made her a little girl and that's what we all wanted. She actually cried!! She wanted to be a boy!!

It's so hard to believe that once again another birthday for Reag has come around! Honestly...wasn't I just doing a cake for him? Anyway...today's the day. Happy birthday big guy! We love you so much. Also to my brother, Titus, who shares the day with Reag....Happy Birthday!! And yes, we love you too!!

Happenings
Ok, for all of you dear friends of mine that keep asking why I'm not posting....here is the latest of happenings in our little world.
Last week I drove to Ohio to surprise Brian, Stacey and the girls. I've not seen them since Christmas and was feeling the need to visit. So I loaded E and B into the car and off we went. Got out there at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Everything was dark and I was thinking I was probably gonna end up shot so I called Stacey. It was so funny to see the look on her face through the door when I told her someone was standing in her driveway!!! And then she cried! Poor girl. Probably added a few years to her life. We had a nice visit of sitting around doing nothing, drinking coffee and just being crazy. Was able to watch my neice, Peyton, play volleyball and win!! Way to go girl! She also won her tournament on Saturday. I'm so proud of her. I left their house at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Traveled to a place in W. VA to meet my parents in law for lunch and then started home. Needless to say...it was an ordeal and a half. Oh my! I was about 5 miles from my turn off to get onto 220....it was 6:20 p.m. next thing I know all three lanes of traffic comes to a screeching halt. For the next two hours we sat there not moving. I mean not even CREEPING! I was thanking the Lord for my cell phone as I texted people and called people!! Some of the folks sitting there weren't smart enough to turn off their vehicles like allot of us did and they ran outa gas. Bia slept through the whole thing and E watched DVD's nonstop even though he increasingly told me, "I so totally have to pee!" :-)
After what seemed like an eternity, talking to everyone that walked past my car and scrooching around like I had ants in my pants....we got moving. Ended up that there was an accident that involved diesel fuel on the road everywhere and three vehicles that I actually saw. I am thankful that we were not involved.
About 20 miles down the road I get into a snow storm. Not just flurry here and there...I mean a storm. It was snowing so hard that two snow plows were out literally plowing the roads!!! I was at that point totally overcome with delirious humor and couldn't stop laughing. I thought it totally funny that there it was, October 19th, and it was snowing so hard we could only drive 40 mph due to lack of visibility!!! I don't remember ever seeing snow like that in October. I can only hope that it happens like that in December so we can enjoy a white Christmas.
Anyway...my 7 hour trip turned into an 11 and 1/2 hour ordeal! I was never more thankful to pull into our town and fall outa the car. I didn't even look back!
Last nite I left the house not long before 9 p.m. to go get groceries for revival this week. I noticed a cop car up a couple parking spots and he was hollering at someone to NOT go into the house until he got there. I thought it odd and went on my way. Next thing I know Troll is calling me and saying that our neighbor was found dead in his house. Wow! He said there were cops everywhere...the man's sister was outside screaming...etc. I was a bit nervous and wondered if I should go home. But he told me to go ahead and do my shopping. We've not heard anything about what happened but evidently he'd been dead for quite awhile. We were trying to think when it was we'd just talked to him and it hit me last nite that while we were packing up the car for my trip he had been walking down the other side of the road and hollered out to us about how we were doing and how he was trying to get the roof done on his house. It's sad. I don't know what the details are surrounding his death but it was a little unsettling.
So needless to say....our lives have been rather exciting. And of course...busy as ever. Tonight we start revival with Dr. and Mrs. Scott. Eth and Bia sound like they are coming down with massive colds as they sound allot like a great dane barking. Hopefully they keep ok so that I can make it to the services.
Anyway, there you have it. Our lives in a brief nutshell. And for those of you that want a laugh (mind you...you need a sense of humor for this so if you don't have one...DON'T ASK!) ask Troll about donut holes and twinkies!!! Especially you, Sis. Zechman! LOL!!!

October

October... busy, beautiful and bountiful.
We have just been busy as usual. Troll was in Kansas for a three day youth convention and got home on Saturday nite (the 3rd) late. The 4th we started revival up at my home church in Big Valley. That finished on Friday nite. A nice week of seeing family and "old" friends. And lets face it...that Valley is the most beautiful valley in PA! Specially this time of year when the Amish are harvesting the corn and the trees are turning...GORGEOUS!!
Fall is my favorite season. Saturday I went to the attic and got out my decor for the dining room and living room. Did all that up and a bit on our porch. There's nothing more soothing to me than to see all the color and smells of Fall. I even made pumpkin pies! And I've never like pumpkin pies. However, this time...I actually enjoyed them!! Jetta commented over and over at how she loves it when i put the Fall things out so I'm assuming I have a little lady after my own heart.
Yesterday our church gave us a really nice harvest home. I forgot to take my camera so you could see but lets just says........we won't need to visit the grocery store for quite awhile! Thank you guys so much for this show of appreciation for your pastor and family. We love each and every family so much and are quite thrilled to be working with you all. May God bless you each over and over again!
A little over a week we'll be in revival at our church with Bro. & Sis. Noel Scott. We're all looking forward to this week of services and are praying God gives us exactly what we need....Revival!
So anyway...there's our lives in a brief, brief nutshell. Trust everyone is having a great October.

Fire whistle...
We live just a block over and down from the firehouse here in Newport. When we first moved here Ethan and Bia would come crying every time it went off. Which proved to be rather exasperating due to the fact that it was a gauranteed event every day at noon.
Over the months they've become adjusted to it and seem to not even hear it anymore. About a week or two ago, Bia came to me when it went off at noon and asked why it was doing that. I explained to her that it went off at lunch time to let everyone know it was time to eat. She gave me her her customary, "to what?" comment after which I explained again and she then gave her customary, "O!".
Today I was just wiping off the table from us eating an early lunch and the fire whistle started its wail. Bia was laying on the floor "fixing" her bike and glanced at me long enough to say, "That fire whistle is making me hungry!" :) Lol!! Guess that's what she got outa my explanation.
