I guess she didn't like the moon in the smiley face shape. She wanted the real deal!!!

At the dentist today from Ethan's mouth...(no pun intended!)
He was playing with the toys at the dentists office and happened to glance up to the TV where Little Mermaid II was playing. He said, I hate that girl. I said, Ethan...don't say you hate her. Just say you don't like her. He said, well I DON'T like her. But I like you.

The other night Bia was having a terrible time going to sleep. She was mad about going to bed so She just kept crying and crying. Both she and Eth were on the futon in our room. After about 25 minutes of her crying, screaming and flopping around I heard Eth say, I don't like girls. Then he threw the pillow over his head and went to sleep!!! If only a pillow would have worked for me!! Both Troll and Eth managed to go to sleep and start snoring. Must be the male thing. Hmmm...maybe I should use "man soap"!!! ha, ha, ha

What a night!

Randy and I hosted a Hillbilly Hicktown party at our house for the young adults from our church. Everything was decorated with redneck in mind. Clothes were strung from place to place, ladder outside with muddy shoes and fake flowers stuck in them, Kitty litter cake...the works. We had a really great night of laughter and fun. Thanks to all that showed up to make it more fun. Hopefully...if I can get me camera to function properly...there will be more pictures on here soon.

I'm not sure if Ethan has been hearing allot about God in Sunday School or not. But the past few days it's been all about God. With us having to all take the kids to school it is wearing the little ones plumb out. Today E said, "Mommy, can't I please just stay here? I don't want to go." I told him that he couldn't stay here by himself. He looked at me and said, "God is with me!" I said, E, I know God is with you...He always is but that doesn't mean you can stay here by yourself. He said, "Well God IS with me and Scotch, Hannity and Palin." :-)

I did feel badly that I had to tell him he still couldn't stay by himself even while telling him that yes, God was with him. How confusing. He finally went up the steps, resigned to the fact that that was what was going to happen. Tomorrow we are going to stay up at school and going to a friends house. He is really looking forward to it. Poor Bia was so tired this morning that she kept falling asleep on the potty!! I caught her one time before she toppled right off. Only 4 more days..

Desperate or Depressed?

I'm not sure what frame of mind Ethan was in when we got home from church last night but we'd just walked up onto our porch when he stepped off again, threw his arms back, looked up to the sky and said
"God! Where are you? Are you in the heaven?"

Maybe he's missing his daddy? Hmmm....

Really

I really do want to put another post on here but after our computer crashed my camera decided it no longer wanted to cooperate with me. I did two cakes this past week and wanted to put them on here. Unfortunately I've not had the chance/time/gumption to figure out what the deal is with my camera. And with Troll being in "that state up north"....I'm running to and fro with the kids, etc. So..........

Moans & Groans

Ugghh! Had a terrible thing happen this week. Our computer crashed. I was online attempting to find some game ideas for this young adult Hillbilly Social we are going to have near the end of the month and I got infested with worms, bugs and other stuff all under the category of a virus protector company. :-( Terrible thing. Troll goes to revival this week and I knew I was going to be ever so helpless without my computer!!! SO....thanks to a super-d-duper friend of ours......we now have our computer back. All we had was a black screen with blinking cursor. So now my life has been saved and I can continue to communicate with the outside world!!!

Thanks a heap, dear, dear friend.

Bia!!

Me and the kids went to my parents house yesterday since Troll had P/T conferences all day. Mom and I were in the kitchen where we were getting lunch stuff cleaned up. My dad was in the study and Bia was in between the living room and the kitchen when my dad blew his nose. Now if you haven't heard him do that...it sounds like a train!! Bia stopped dead in her tracks, eyes bugged wide and said, "Gramps farted!!" My mom and I started laughing really hard. In fact, I was doubled over the table I was laughing so hard!! It was SO funny. Her face was priceless!!
