Just had to...
I was on a friend's blog and saw what she'd done to herself through this program. I just HAD to do some of Troll and I. This place is really cool. Just go to www.yearbookyourself.com and have fun. Guess who the person is in the picture right under Troll's top picture???????????

Birthday
Yesterday was Reagan's birthday. He turned 7. Sunday we'd gone to family's house from church to celebrate. Below are some random pictures from then and also some pictures when he got a box from his Uncle Brian and Aunt Stacey in the mail today. The pictures are all messed up in order. I put them on here in another order but I guess the computer didn't like my order. That's what you get out of technology!!
This is Jenna and Bia; cohorts in crime!!! They play together so well. Jenna is 3 and Biaa 2 and yet they are the same size!! I love this picture. They look so sweet.
Reagan and a game he recieved from the box. Wonder if he was at all excited???
Here's the Ohio box. (Told you the pix are all messed up. If I wasn't so lazy I'd just redo the post. Nah....I'm too lazy!)
Here's a pix from Sunday and the cake lighting. He's not real good about looking thrilled!! Hmmm wonder if I do have a kid like me after all?!!!
Anyway, Reagan had a great birthday. We are so glad he is a part of our family. We got to sing to him at church last night. I think that was a first for anyone in our family!! Just so happened one fell on a church day so we made it happen!! He's our most relaxed kid as far as personality goes and yet full of sugar-filled energy!! As far as labor went...he was my easiest. I guess that should have let me know just what an awesome kid he was going to be. Happy Bday, buddy. We love you much, much, muchly!!!

The latest!!
The latest in orneriness...
The other day I couldn't find Ethan and Bia. I finally found them in the boy's bathroom. They had one end of my vacuum hose hooked up to the sink and the other in Bia's mouth!!! Evidently she was really thirsty!!!!

Here I are again!!
I'm sure you're wondering what has happened to make me come over here so many times recently. The need to get away? Possibly. Actually there are just so many things happening in our household that I can't allow them to go "un-published"!! I've found that my previous assumptions of Ethan growing out of his ornery stage has become just that....an assumption. I don't remember if I'd mentioned in September about hearing the cat hollering and I'd gone to see what the ruckus was about and he was attempting to paperhole punch Scotch's ear!! Well just a week ago he decided to give himself, Bia and the cat a haircut. The cat managed to slip away with only a small hole in his fur. Bia got a good 2" hacked off the back of her hair and some of her hair on top she only has a 1/2" left!! Ethan looked like he had the mange so I ended up buzzing all of his hair off. He's got this thing with cutting. I'm assuming it's all Miss Thomas' fault for allowing him to use scissors at school. SEE...this is why my kids never knew how to cut until they went to school!!!
Below you'll see a picture of a dollar I found on my dresser while cleaning it off yesterday....
WELL...... what was left of the dollar!!!
After showing this to Ethan and asking him what it was he started laughing and said, "It's a king hat, mom!!" He then realized (after I'd managed to control the gut-wrenching laughter that I'd emitted) that I was serious and he started to cry!! The look on his face was priceless. I couldn't help laughing. He was so proud to let me know that it was a king hat!!

Here is the cake I made for Reagan today. He'll be turning 7 on Wednesday but we're going to a family from church's house tomorrow and I offered to bring dessert. Figured a cake was as good as anything. He asked for a baseball cake this year. I had ran out of brown food coloring so I had to make a black bat. The hotdog was a hoot. It looks so real in real-life. The ball got a tad wrinkly but he loved it when he came inside and saw the cake. That's all that matters to me!!

Second day in a row!!
As the wailing sounds reminiscient of an elephant in labor echoed through our house...I quickly decided I was coming over here to the school just to pop into blog world and say hello!! The two notes that Austin has been practicing on the trombone for seemingly weeks are starting to sound a little too loud!! Troll has to leave for a board meeting in about 30 minutes so I ran out the door before he could ask me where I was headed to for the second day in a row! Ahh...I know he doesn't care. However, he knows once I head out the door I might not return for quite some time! Every once in awhile I just have to do that.
So anyway...that's all I wanted. Just saying howdy to everyone. Have a splendid evening. OH!! The picture above has nothing to do with the laboring elephant. I was just putting another cake on here I did the other day. Sorry!! As you can see....I'm loosing it!! Nothing makes sense anymore!

Yes, I'm alive!!
I'm not even going to mention how long it's been since I've blogged. I'm such a looser!! I just can't seem to get my weary self over here to the school more frequently. Oh well. Tons of things have occured since my last post so I'll just start explaining pictures...
This is a picture of the food we got from harvest home at our church. MY WORD!!! There was so much food it took me almost 4 hours to put it away. The first 1/2 hour I just walked around the table laughing and trying to figure out where I was gonna stuff it all!! We REALLY appreciate their kindness in this gesture. I told one lady that I didn't know if the church people just loved us so much or if they were trying to kill us off through gluttony!! :-)
Here is one side of the pantry when finished. What you can't see is how deep these shelves actually are. They are the depth of the width of a door. Pretty sweet!! The other side of the pantry only has one shelf with food on it and it was totally laden with home canned goods. WOW!! We thank Center Union GMC SO much for this.
While attending revival services at a sister church last week a lady came up to me asking me how we liked our new church and new place. I told her we loved the church but that we were still living on campus until housing was decided upon. She mentioned us getting our own place and I had to laugh and tell her we'd only be able to afford something big enough to stick a few of our big toes in at a time!! Thought I'd show you a picture of such a place!!
Actually the picture is of Jetta's History project for school. She had to make an Indian dwelling. I thought she did a pretty good job of making a Hogan. The picture below is her making the mud for the roof. I can't wait to hear what her teacher says about it.
Here's the latest of cakes I've done. The family wanted Curious George. As I didn't have anything to go on I had to get one of the kids' fruit snack packs that had his face on and attempt drawing it. I kinda think he might look like a distant cousin of George's instead of George himself!!! Oh well. As long as they were happy...I'm happy!!
Something funny that happened:
October the first we left after church and headed to my parents house where we were going to drop off the kids. The school's teacher's convention was the 2nd and 3rd so mom had offered to keep the kids so I could go with Troll to Lancaster for KCEA. We were almost to my mom's when we passed a dead skunk. It was a horrid smelling one at that. From behind us came, "What's that smell? (sniff, sniff) It smells like breakfast!" Ethan evidently has had breakfast that wasn't too pleasant!! Hopefully it was at someone else's house!!
We had some people from school watch our dog, Hannity, while we were away Wed-Sat. Troll was informed at school the following week that Hannity was quite a character. He attacked their bird and yanked out all of his tail feathers and then when the Mrs. of the house went to move him from beside her sleeping husband's head one night she scared him so badly that he pee'd all over the place (Hannity did...not the husband!! LOL)!!! Her husband never knew it!!! I'm sure we're on the black list for dog sitting ever again!!! Poor bird!
So there you have it.... the latest in a very small shell from the Tolley Tribe. Until next time.... DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH!!!
